Headed up by ATOMIC JAM and SPLIT resident DJ CHRIS FINKE and his partner ANDI HAWES, the music policy of the label is simple; steering away from the "one label one sound" that has become the norm today, the only criteria is quality dance floor techno and this EP sums up the ethos of the label perfectly. Originally promo'd earlier this year, this release has already been charted at #1 by Dave Clarke, and caned by everyone from the late John Peel, who made it one of his records of the month in August 2004, to Jeff Mills, Derrick May and Danny Howells. CHRIS McCORMACK kicks things off with SKYLINE, a monster of a track which combines a killer hook with f*cked up vocals and his signature relentless beats. A huge track that is a hit with techno and hard dance DJs alike! London boy "DARK" MARK WILLIAMS follows with A DJS GROOVE, a track which does exactly what it says. A departure from his recent tribal output, this is a rolling groove based track with a swelling dark riff and his always pounding bottom end that's sure to keep the floor rocking! We are proud to welcome Chicago legend K ALEXI to the FLUX family for his offering FOREVER (BANG MIX). As you would expect from the man, the old skool jacking beats and quirky 303 riff blended with his smooth vocals is classic K! DARKO ESSER (Wolfskuil records boss and dance promoter of the Doornroosje club in Holland) brings up the rear with the darkest track of the bunch, LATE AT NIGHT. The purest techno track on the 12" comprises cleverly programmed broken beats, deeeep bass and a truly evil breakdown. Not for the faint of heart!
