This 6th release from FLUX sees the old Chicago favourite from DJ URBAN given the 'once over' from BEN SIMS and label boss CHRIS FINKE. 'YOU WORK IT' was released on International House Records in 1998 and featured on a number of compilations including, Dave Clarke's Fuse Mix CD. A simple but effective drum workout with a typical Chi-Town style vocal stab, the track is classic Chicago stomp! BEN SIMS' remix is likely to shock and surprise anyone who has followed his career to date, as he turns in a mix in a completely different style to anything he has released before. We aren't going to say much about this at all, except that we think its possibly his best remix work to date and there’s not a hint of the tribal sound he's famous for! Alongside recently featuring on DAVE CLARKES 'WORLD SERVICE MIX 2', this has been tried and tested at clubs and festivals globally by the boys over the last 12 months and never falls short of tearing the roof off! CHRIS FINKES' 'BACK TO '92 REMIX', was originally just a raw bootleg to play in his DJ sets, (and not for release), but the reactions in the clubs to this have been so good that Chris decided to release this as a remix. Pounding retro-beats, heavy bass and cheeky old-skool sample make up this big-room tune.
