Chris Says... The first in an ongoing series - Mark Broom's killer "Run Tings" was the star of the package, whilst new talent Baffa's "La Kaya" is a true killer. Paul Mac's acidic "A Nod To The Past" and Chris Finke's dark rolling "The Bodymaster" complete the 4 tracker. The Official Press Says.. Hot on the heels of DJ URBANS 'YOU WORK IT part 2', the first installment of the 'Chris Finke presents…' series, featuring tracks chosen by Chris showcasing established artists and fresh new talent alongside Chris himself. MARK BROOM, veteran of the UK music scene and leading member of top pop beat combo '5 MIC CLUSTER' opens things up with RUN TINGS. The simple old skool track has been ripping it up all over on CDR of late and its easy to see why as the hook of the booming bassline is catchy as hell and perfectly compliments the crisp percussion. Whatever style you play this is a big track!! CHRIS FINKE steps up next with his most accomplished track to date. THE BODYMASTER is a heavy-hitting, dark and relentless, laced with fucked up synth lines, twisted bass and off kilter percussion this aint for the hands in the air crew! The always on form PAUL MAC has had his most prolific year yet, with his 3rd album released plus releases on ****. A NOD TO THE PAST is just that, a very effective peak time acid track which has been working a treat for the lucky few to have sampled it off CDR. Watch out for more from Paul on FLUX very soon!! Last but not least DJ BAFFA from Venezuela rounds things off with LA KAYA, a monster techno track. Powerful funked-up percussion, synth line reminiscent of classic Damon Wild and a killer break all go together to make this rocking track a future classic.
